TESCO Metering’s Safety Disconnect and Wireless Probe (Catalog No. 1039-WP) lets you wirelessly program, read, and disconnect meters without leaving your vehicle. This portable, two-in-one device combines the proven safety disconnect function of the original TESCO 1039 unit with a powerful wireless optical probe—giving you full control within 1,200 feet.

New Enhancements:

  • One-Button Demand Reset: A streamlined process to reset the meter’s demand register—just press and go. The 1039 automatically recognizes the meter, authenticates, sends the reset command, and confirms success.
  • Dual Password Capability: Supports two stored passwords per meter vendor. If the first fails, the device seamlessly tries the second—ideal for field situations with legacy or unknown credentials.
  • Auto Disable if Lost or Stolen: This enhanced-security version features an internal inactivity timer. After a preset idle time, the unit disables standard wake-up functionality and requires a USB connection plus physical button press to reactivate—minimizing the risk of misuse if the unit is lost or stolen.

Not compatible with meters that don’t support ANSI C12.18 optical port communication. Contact your TESCO Metering rep for compatibility info.
