Leveraging Knopp’s renowned precision, the KCTS-8000X expands Knopp’s present robust testing capability to allow for testing of CTs down to 1% Rating Factor. Equipped with  electronically compensated burdens, the system adjusts for active impedance and power factor to maintain accuracy even at low levels. Real-time burden measurements are displayed and  recorded for thorough test validation.

The KCTS-8000X also features an upgraded industry-leading comparator with improved low range accuracy, protective circuitry, motorized control, an RS-232C output port, and now TESCO Device Manager integration to further enhance testing efficiency. With additional features such as transformer demagnetization and a convenient connection kit, the KCTS8000X offers an  advanced, reliable solution for precision testing in metering and billing applications.
