Job Overview:

We are growing and looking for an Electrical Engineer that has combined technical, hands-on, and real-world experiences. The Electrical Engineer will conceptualize and design small devices, test stations, systems, and equipment in support of the TESCO product line. You will perform engineering work in basic and applied research, development, and/or design of new products and/or sustaining of existing products. This position will report directly to the Engineer Manager. You will work closely with the engineering staff to understand equipment/system requirements and to ensure that the product(s) work in the application(s).

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with other electrical, mechanical, and software engineers
• Design, simulate, implement, and test product circuits and test fixtures
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical assemblies, models, and technical specifications
• Analyze complex systems, devices, and circuits and quickly identify and rectify problems
• Ensure designs are cost-effective and can be efficiently manufactured
• Follow key engineering procedures including the Product Development Process, ECO process, and use of source control and defect tracking tools
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and service personnel as needed to identify and address circuit performance issues

Requirements:

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in circuit design
• Must have a strong understanding of discrete semiconductors
• Must have a strong understanding of passive components
• Experience in analog and digital design
• Experience in field test equipment is a plus
• Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to interface on a professional level
